This video uses a DMX6dim as an example model, but these procedures are identical on all RC4Magic Series 2 and Series 3 devices with 3 buttons, such as the RC4Magic2dim, RC4Magic6dim-500 and RC4MagicPix. RC4Lumendim devices do not carry unique ID sets.
-RC4Magic System IDs are private and unique to every user and project.
-Your ID codes belong only to you and no one else. Private IDs ensure that when everyone follows the same procedure to select ID0 , ID1 , ID2 unrelated systems will never connect or interfere with each other. Only RC4Magic provides this level of system data security.
-The Public ID (ID 3, code 999) is common to all RC4Magic systems ever manufactured. It allows unrelated systems to be combined intentionally if desired.
The default ID on any RC4Magic device is ID 0

-You may not set a two button device to ID2 manually by using the buttons. This can only be performed by using RC4Commander software, available for free download under the support tab
-Once an ID is set in a unit, it will remain set until it is changed or the unit is restored to the factory settings, at which point it will revert to ID0
-These blink patterns are the same for all RC4 Magic Series 3 devices
