• The RC4Magic items you need.  If you are adding rental items to an existing RC4Magic system you own, be sure to let us know your System ID numbers, which are clearly marked on every piece you own.  If you are renting a complete system, remember you will need a DMXio to use a transmitter, as well as receivers and dimmers.  Every DMXio comes with a power adaptor.
• The date when you need your rental items to arrive.  They will be delivered to your door by Federal Express.
• The date when you will provide all your rental items to a shipper (usually USPS) for return to us.  Your rental rates are calculated only for the period when you have the items, there is no charge for the time when the devices are in transit.

RC4 rental rates can be calculated for any specific number of days.  The most economical rate is monthly.  A deposit is required at the outset, fully refunded when the equipment is returned.  A nominal shipping charge, usually a flat fee of $75.00, covers the cost of getting the system out to you and back again.  We handle all the details for you.

Due to the high cost of shipping batteries, and the consumable nature of batteries and lamps, we do not offer rental of these items.  We are happy to offer expert advise on good choices for your project — feel free to call or email with any questions you may have.

If a rental comes back with broken terminal or torn labels, nothing bad will happen to you!  We understand what props masters and electricians face everyday.  You may send your rental units back covered in paint and adhesive residue, a scratch across the top and no label at all… that’s ok! As long as you haven’t set it on fire, immersed it in pond scum, driven over it with a truck, or some other ludicrous thing, we will take it back and fully refund your deposit. Of course, we’ll love you more if you remove your tape and Velcro.
