Example: Set Dim D for a Relay on DMX Ch 12 (LumenDimM4)

I. How to control a relayRelaySimply put, a relay is an electronically operated switch. They open and close circuits electromechanically or electronically.  A relay is easily controlled with an RC4 dimmer set to the non-dim dimmer curve.  This curve avoids oscillation or buzzing in the relay by ensuring the channel can only be fully on or fully off.

A. In this example, DMX channels 39-41 are already being used for 3-color LED tape connected to DimA, DimB, DimC.  DimD was assigned to DMX channel 42 automatically in the process.

1. Dim D, the fourth channel, is not be yet used

2. That channel can be reassigned to use for a relay

B. Put the channel you want for the relay at 100% for the non-dim curve

1. In this example, channel 12 is used

D. Test the channel by taking channel 12 down, then bringing it up to 100%

E. The green LED next to the Set D button will switch on and off (it will not dim)

F. Channel 42 is no longer in use

G. The fourth dimmer, Dim D, in the LumenDimM4 is now being used on channel 12

H. Each of the four channels can be independently addressed with separate DMX channels and dimmer curves, they do not need to be consecutive

1.  Set A assigned consecutive channels, all on the same curve
