For RC4 Commander to communicate wirelessly with an RC4Magic device, it needs another device in Dongle Mode connected to a computer with a CodeLoader cable.

Take the device desired to be the “dongle”, plug the 1/8″ jack into the DMX port on your device and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Apply power.

If using an IO Transceiver- Wait at least 5 seconds after powering on, tap the ID3 (public) button and wait for lights to trace(this will take several seconds), indicating that it is in Dongle Mode.

If using another RC4Magic device- Hold the Func button for several seconds until you see a rhythmic or asymmetrical blinking pattern of the COP light

Proceed to use Commander as usual
