How to Pair and Unpair with a Transmitter (LumenDimM4)

I. All RC4 LumenDim devices use a genuine LumenRadio CRMX radio card, and pairing function work the same way as other LumenRadio devices

II. Pair an unpaired LumenDimM4 with a LumenRadio transmitter

A. Push the link button on the transmitter

B. The Link indicator on the transmitter will blink

C. The blue RF indicator will blink on the LumenDimM4

C. Optional: using a small tool like a bent paper clip, push the RF button on the LumenDimM4 (it is directly below the RF indicator LED)

1. An unpaired CRMX device automatically pairs to a transmitter when it receives the pairing signal, so it is not actually necessary to press the RF button on the LumenDimM4 to cause it to pair to the transmitter

D. When the transmitter pairing process stops and the transmitter LED stops blinking, the blue RF indicator on the LumenDimM4 will stay on, indicating pairing was sucessful

E. If DMX data is present at the transmitter DMX input, the LumenDimM4 will indicate this with the yellow DMX data LED

F. If DMX data is not present at the transmitter, the LumenDimM4 blue RF indicator will be on with a repeating very short blip off and the yellow DMX data LED will not be on

F. Check by bringing up the appropriate faders on the console

1. The DimA output indicators will come on when the assigned DMX channels are raised

2. With default settings in the device, the dimmers will operate on DMX channels 1, 2, 3, and 4 using the ISL-Slow dimmer curve and medium RC4 Digital Persistence smoothing time

III. Unpair/disconnect the LumenDimM4 from a LumenRadio transmitter

A. Using a small tool like a bent paper clip, press and hold the Connect RF button on the LumenDimM4 for several seconds

B. The blue RF indicator LED will turn off

C. This indicates the transmitter has been unpaired/disconnected from the LumenDimM4
