The user interface (UI) is the physical hardware on a device that users interact with to configure settings, enable and disable features, see operational status, and more.  The user interface on most small RC4 devices is comprised of recessed buttons and small LED indicators.  More complex devices may use rotary controls, touch screens, and more.
